New England Horseback Riding and Carriage Driving is located at the Telemark Wilderness Lodge. We offer a variety of unique and educational horseback riding, carriage driving and sled dog programs for people of all ages.

Great Wilderness Adventure
The staff were very friendly and gracious hosts. There’s plenty to do (especially if you like spending time with dogs!) dog-sledding, horseback riding, carriage riding, hiking, or relaxing in the cabin. If you’re active, you can run with younger dogs to train them for dog-sledding, and if you’d rather take it slow, you can hang out with cats, llamas, horses, or sit in sled and enjoy the ride. Every last one of the 70-odd dogs was friendly, as the staff go to great lengths to make sure all their animals are well cared for and happy.

I would advise visitors to read weather forecasts and pack accordingly. I happened to go during a particularly cold week in January, and I was very glad that I packed extra warm clothes.
